Weed Management Areas are a
designated part of land where local organizations, local landowners, and
government entities come together to tackle a common problem. Typically this is
noxious weed control. They offen share resources where one entity could not do
it alone. This type of partnership is spreading throughout the United States
quickly. All members share information and communicate with one another more
effciently. Another benefit is that more work can be done with less amount of
money. Grants also help Weed Manangement Areas (WMA's) and provide crucial
funding for unique programs that go outside of their respective budgets.
